With all SIC (Sectional Election Commission) protocols from abroad processed, ?Progressive Bulgaria? leads the vote among Bulgarians outside the country, securing 70,995 votes, which equals 38.038% of the total.
The result confirms the formation's first-place position in the diaspora vote as well. It is followed by PP-DB, which received 42,635 votes or 22.843%, placing it firmly in second position among overseas voters.
In third place is DPS, which collected 15,860 votes, representing 8.498%. It is followed by ?Greatness? with 10,791 votes (5.782%), while ?Revival? ranks fifth with 9,790 votes (5.245%).
GERB is sixth among voters abroad, receiving 8,715 votes or 4.669%.
According to the Central Election Commission data with 100% of the protocols processed, ?Progressive Bulgaria? maintains its leading position not only overall abroad, but also in several key countries. The formation wins in places such as Germany, the United Kingdom and Canada, and also secures more than 4,800 votes in Turkey, where it ranks third.
PP-DB performs strongly in countries including the United States and Australia, while DPS records its highest share of support in Turkey.
The results come after changes in the organization of voting abroad, including a reduction in the number of polling sections outside the European Union to 20 per country outside embassies and consulates. This measure affected voter access in countries such as the UK, the US and Turkey and was adopted with the support of several political forces.
Looking at previous electoral cycles, DPS or its earlier political formations had historically dominated the vote abroad, including before its internal split. In earlier elections, parties such as ?There Is Such a People? also previously led among overseas voters but are now significantly below the parliamentary threshold.
