The Ukrainian charge daffaires in Tehran was summoned by Head of the First Department of Eurasian Affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry Shahram Farsaei on Monday in protest at the inappropriate remarks made by a number of Ukrainian authorities regarding the Israeli and American acts of aggression against Iran.
Farsaei delivered the protest note of the Islamic Republic of Iran, adding that the Ukrainian officials, by supporting the military aggression of the Zionist regime, have in fact disregarded Ukraines international legal obligations concerning respect for the principles and purposes of the UN Charter as well as the four Geneva Conventions, and have thereby endorsed the heinous crimes the apartheid Israeli regime has committed.
The Iranian diplomat noted that this entails international responsibility for the Ukrainian government, the Foreign Ministrys website reported.
The Ukrainian charge daffaires was also warned against the consequences of repetition of such hostile and provocative positions by Ukraine against Iran.
The Ukrainian diplomat said he would promptly convey Irans protest to his government.
